Virginia-based mattress company, Leesa launched a partnership with Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training (MCVET)
on World Homeless Day 2018, with a donation of 125 mattress. Baltimore-based MCVET equips homeless veterans, and other veterans in need of a hand up, with the support to enable them to rejoin their communities as productive citizens.
On May 23, 2019 the partnership continued with a delivery of 125 brand new mattresses and 250 pillows, during a second giving event.
7-year-old Tyler Stallings, Honorary CEO of Kid Time Enterprises, LLC, suggested MCVET as a recipient of the mattresses, during his selection as a partner with Leesa, before World Homeless Day.
